Patriotic Tribute

picture

The Thunder in the Valley event will be promoted as a patriotic tribute to our military of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Therewill be a flag display coordinated with the Cedar Valley Veteran organizations.

The military objectives for events such as this include; support for military recruiting and troop retention, to assure public confidence in our fighting forces and to demonstrate the sheer might of the U.S. Armed Forces. Representatives of all branches of the military will be on hand to meet, greet, and answer any of questions.

Welcome to Our Website

Business and government leaders in the Cedar Valley have joined forces to hoist the flag, honor our military and entertain the public in connection with a carefully planned Thunder in the Valley event sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Waterloo Iowa.

Planning began a year in advance to assure that this air show party goes down on record as one of the most successful and best attended events in Iowa’s history. All post expense proceeds of this family spectator event will be used by Kiwanis to fulfill its mission of serving the children of the Cedar Valley.
